Welcome to Laundry Turtle!

Around 2010, our founder Eric Mendes, a student living in a small apartment, struggled with laundry in tight spaces, invented the Laundry Turtle.

Years later, in 2019, Eric’s parents joined him in Canada, and seeing his mother struggle with heavy laundry sparked his idea to life. Together, they created prototypes until one really worked—and friends encouraged them to share it.

Launching Laundry Turtle wasn’t easy, but we persevered through challenges, including the pandemic. Inspired by Eric's mom, lovingly called “Tartaruguinha” (Little Turtle), our product simplifies laundry, especially for those who find it physically demanding.
